Yay! I’ve lost weight! 3.5 whole pounds. Not bad considering in the first two weeks, I gained 2lbs. So really, I’ve lost 1.5lbs. But that’s better than nothing, right?
What I’m most excited about is that I broke the 200lb barrier. (For the record, I’m not afraid to state my weight. I’m a big girl. Figuratively and literally.) I’ve had trouble forever getting under 200lbs. A few months ago I got down to 195, and I damn near scheduled a parade through the city. Of course, the second I hit 195, I rocketed right back up to 205. It’s been 4 months or so since I’ve been under 200, and I’m super excited. Again. But this time I think I’m postponing the parade until I’m under 190.
Congrats, I think the first few pounds and the last few pounds are the hardest (not that every pound isn’t difficult)!
Thanks for your comments on my blog and the positive, supportive thoughts. They mean a lot.
On a totally unrelated note, I agree with you 100% about The West Wing, Studio 60, Grey’s Anatomy, and Friends. Although I’m not so sure about Grey’s now that Addison is gone, I liked her. I wish Meredith had left instead.
Thanks for the support! The first few pounds have been hard every time I’ve started. Someday I’ll let you know how the last few go
I couldn’t agree with you more. I’d be quite happy if they got rid of her. If you haven’t had a chance, check out Private Practice. It’s not as good as Grey’s, but it’s not terrible either.
Good for you! I gained 60 pounds with Little C and had to work it off. It was hard, but I did it! Support was a big part of the weight loss for me…that and Weight Watchers and exercise!
